The Anger Management Department of Associates in Professional Counseling provides Certified Anger Management Facilitators who have studied with the world-renowned expert George Anderson and are under the supervision of Dr. Charles Polcaster, Clinical Director of APC.
Denis Sullivan, C.A.M.F. is the Director of Anger Management Services for Associates in Professional Counseling and Coaching. He is a National Certified Anger Management Specialist, with additional training in executive coaching and is a licensed Secondary Education Teacher in the state of Illinois. With a BS in Psychology and Secondary Education from DePaul University, Mr. Sullivan has 15 years of experience in Psycho-educational Training, ranging from Psychiatric Curriculum Development for Children’s Memorial Hospital Partial Hospital Unit, the International Anderson & Anderson® Curriculum and consultation for Controlled Negotiation Training with the Special Counsel to the U.N. He has developed numerous department initiatives and trained staff for school districts with a focus on incorporating anger/stress management, diversity sensitivity, civic responsibility, adolescent contemporary issues and leadership training.
Kevin Huyser is a Certified Anger Management Specialist - Executive Coach and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with fifteen years of experience working with children, adolescents, families, adults, and couples. Kevin was personally trained by Anger Management expert George Anderson. Particular areas of clinical interest include behavioral disorders, school issues, attention-deficit disorder, anxiety, depression, and anger. He has worked as a Parent-education coordinator and has served as a presenter and consultant to elementary, junior-high, and high schools. Kevin has also facilitated adolescent groups at Linden Oaks Hospital in Naperville, Illinois where he is a member of the Allied Professional Staff.
Rick Hastings is a Certified Anger Management Specialist and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over ten years of experience. He works will adults and adolescents and is known for his work at Linden Oaks Hospital at Edward as a case manager.
Mark McIntyre is a Certified Anger Management Specialist and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over ten years of experience. He has a wide background, working with adults, adolescents, children and families.
Ofelia Miran is a Certified Anger Management Specialist and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, and Registered Nurse, with over ten years of experience. She has special training in faith-based anger management curriculum. Ofelia also has specialties in nursing and family counseling.
