About the Trainers:
Douglas L. McKinley, Psy. D. - Private Practice Dr. McKinley is the founder and director of Associates in Family Care, Ltd. Since 1991, he has built a solid group practice that is committed to providing a holistic health model of treatment including spiritual, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth. He has also developed a internship and practicum training program for doctoral students.
He received his master's degree from Wright State University and his doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology was earned at the Adler School of Professional Psychology. While in private practice, he has been active with leadership at Linden Oaks Hospital serving as Chair of the Allied Steering Committee and as a primary supervisor for the Internship Program. Dr. McKinley is a Registered Corporate Coach with the National Association for Business Coaching.
Trish Jones-Bendel RN - Hospital Setting
Trish is the Director of Adult and Eating Disorder Services at Linden Oaks Hospital . She has her BSN from the University of KY. She has worked in Behavioral Health since 1984. Trish has been a manager in the psychiatric inpatient setting since 1990 and has been an instructor for CPI and has filmed training videos for Primedia WorkPlace. Trish's main areas of expertise are in rebuilding units to more accurately reflect the ever changing needs of the psychiatric industry and the development of strong interdisciplinary teams.
Kristin Mikolite, L.C.P.C., C.A.D.C. - Agency Setting
Ms. Mikolite obtained her Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Northwestern University . She has extensive experience providing and overseeing clinical services in a variety of social service settings. She has provided clinical supervision and management in a variety of child welfare settings. Kristin served as a supervisor for Aunt Martha's Youth Service Center for almost ten years. She has over fourteen years of clinical experience working with children, adolescents and adults at Aunt Martha's as well as other social service agencies and in private practice.
Continuing Education Hours: This program is recognized as providing 3 CEU's for: LPC/LCPC, LSW/LCSW. CEU credit through IAODAPCA has been applied for.
Confirmations / Directions: Upon receipt of the registration form, we will mail or email a confirmation letter including location and directions. There will be no confirmations sent for registrations received one week or less prior to the workshop.
Refund Policy: Registrations cancelled before one week prior to the workshop will be refunded their cost minus a $25 administrative fee. Registration can be applied to another available training date, based on availability. There are no refunds within one week of the training.
Registration Deadlines: Registrations should be received one week prior to each workshop. Space is limited, and early registration is encouraged.
